One Big Voice

One Big Voice Friday 21st August

 Parents, carers, grandparents, and friends are invited to attend this festival. Our students are performing in the Matinee B 1 section. 
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketek online, a Ticketek agency or at RAC Arena.

Students will be recorded and photographed during this event. Recordings can be bought after the concert from the OBV website: onebigvoice.com.au

*Please note no tickets are sold by or at the school, only through Ticketek.

Perth Arena will not allow any bags bigger than an A4 size of paper to be brought into the venue.  The security will be checking everyone upon entry.

STUDENTS ORGANISED AND DEPARTURE.

  1. No school bag is required; they are not permitted in the RAC arena.
  2. No personal water bottles
  3. Choir students will have their name marked off their class roll; and then meet outside the Music room at 8.30am.
  4. Please be prompt, the bus will be leaving from Addison Gardens car park at 8.40am. We will be departing from the back of the school due to students attending swimming lessons leaving via the front of the school.
  5. Students will be accompanied by Mrs. Ebert, Mrs. Hawkins and parent helpers. Their help is very much appreciated.
  6. Students are expected to arrive back at school by 2.20pm.


FOOD

  1. Please ensure your child eats a substantial breakfast.
  2. A toilet and snack break will take place from 10.40 – 11.10am at the RAC Arena.
  3. A brown paper bag will be provided to pack their lunch and snack.
  4. Please pack small non-messy lunch as a sandwich and a muesli bar.

No Pop corn or messy food please.


WHAT TO WEAR

  1. Students are to wear the Merriwa Choir shirt to school on Friday, and wear closed in sneakers.
  2. Please wash and return the choir shirts, on the following Wednesday.
  3. Hair to be brushed and neatly tied back. Hair clips and ribbons are acceptable.


SCHOOL BAGS AND WATER BOTTLES

  1. School bags and personal water bottles are not permitted inside the RAC arena.
  2. The school will provide a water bottle


CONCERT TIME

  1. Doors will be opening at 11.40am.
  2. The One Big Voice Festival will begin at 12 noon and finish at 1.30pm.
  3. Train travel is free for all ticket holders.
