Merriwa Primary School Rated Highly in Public School Review

On 21 September the Public School Review Team visited our school for our school based validation about our school effectiveness. 

We are thrilled to announce that we have been recommended for the highest rating, pending final authorisation by the Department of Education.

The Review Team looked at our leadership, teaching quality, student achievement and progress, learning environment, use of resources, and relationships and partnerships.


Staff, the School Board Chair and parents from the P & C and School Board were interviewed, and our councillors and senior Aboriginal students presented their thoughts about Merriwa Primary.

The final report will be published on our website next term.

We thank everyone who contributed to the day and for making our school such a fantastic place.
